She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Fryback and Nellie Fryback (Pinney); her husband Donald E. Shady; her daughter Cynthia Poffenberger; and her grandsons, Corey Poffenberger and Ted Smith.
She is survived by: her sons, Don Smith (Jackie) of Bluffton and Neal Smith (Vickie) of Lanesville, IN; her granddaughters, Judy Thompson and Sherri Smiley (Charlie) of Bluffton; her son-in-law Joe Poffenberger of Bluffton; and her sister Pat Mossburg of Bluffton. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
