Joni K. Blomeke Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joni K. Blomeke of Bluffton, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Traxler; and her in-laws, Steve Blomeke and Dave Blomeke. She is survived by: her mother Sally Traxler (Yeager) of Fort Recovery; her husband Charles "Chuck" Blomeke; her stepson Jonathan Blomeke (Lyn) of Geneva, Indiana; her grandchildren, Corbin Blomeke (Stephanie), Ethan Blomeke and Madalyn Blomeke; her great grandchild Fletcher Blomeke; her brothers, Michael Traxler of Fort Recovery and Thomas Traxler (Becky) of Connecticut; her nephew Jeremy Traxler; and her in-laws, Pat Blomeke (Marion), Linda Walker (Craig), Sharon Erman (Rob), Denise Sexton (Jeff) and Betty Blomeke. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church (403 Sharpsburg Rd, Fort Recovery, OH 45846). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery (512 S Wayne St, Fort Recovery, OH 45846).
Memorial contributions may be given to the Cancer Association of Mercer County.
