He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Cupp and Margaret Cupp (Miller); and his sister Barbara Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Judy of Bluffton; his children, Jeff Cupp (Nancy) of Roanoke, Jenny Miller (Mike) of Ossian, Janice Hunter (Lex) of Bluffton and Jason Cupp (Amy) of Bluffton; his grandchildren, Ashton Denton (Mike), Jamie Cupp, Chelsea Thompson, Kendyl Bucher (Eric), Nicole Raskie, Chris Miller (Ashley), Jordan Miller, Luke Hunter (Kayla), Alex Hunter (Haley), Emmy Cupp, Owen Cupp, Gina Cupp, Camden Cupp and Carmyn Cupp; and his brothers, Mick Cupp (Connie) of Bluffton and Dave Cupp (Mary Jo) of Des Moines. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made in John's memory to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
