With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John A. Meyer of Bluffton, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Meyer and Josephine Meyer (Kipfer); and his brother Vernon Meyer. He is survived by: his sister Delores Heyerly; his wife Carolyn; his children, Mark Meyer (Inger) of McKinney, TX, Lora Kieser (Dan) of Bluffton, Lona Grover (Doug) of Huntertown, IN and Michelle Gorman (Tim) of Fremont, IN.; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Meyer (Jen), Cecily Russell (Jesse), Stephanie Brown (Zachery), Jerod Kieser (Jennifer), Michael Grover (Jodi), Anyssa Adams (Adrian), Alyssa Shultz (Matthew), Dayna Turner (Evan), Clare Van Prooyen (Derek) and Reeves Johnson. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Christian Care Retirement Community.
