With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jimmie Purvis of Bluffton, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jimmie left this world on December 5, 2024 at the age of 74, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his daughter Teresa Harris; his brother Eddie Norman; and his grandson Paul Ward. He is survived by: his wife Cathie Thrasher; his children, Patty Carpenter (Ritchie) of Mount Sterling, KY, Kim Connett (Jerry) of Ossian, Tina Rothgeb (Ben Oxendine) of Fort Wayne and James Purvis (Veronica) of Bluffton; and his brothers, Huey Ginter of Liberty Center and Glen Norman of Liberty Center. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Goodwin-Cale & Harnish Memorial Chapel (3220 East State Road 124, Bluffton, IN 46714). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
