He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Oman and Flossie Marie Oman (Grove) of Poneto; his wife Jone Gregg Oman; his brother Robert "Bob" Neal Oman, Sr.; his sister-in-law Dorothy Oman (Johnson) of Taft, TX; his siblings, Wendel "Cy" Leon Oman of Bluffton and Dorothy Evelyn Lewis (Oman); and his brothers-in-law, John Hyser Lewis of Muncie, Ralph Eugene Davison of Columbia City and William "Bill" Gentis of Bluffton.
He is survived by: his children, Lana, Todd Paul Oman (Linda Joyce) of Greentown and Cheryl Lynn Barger (Randy Wayne) of Decatur; his grandchildren, Lana Renee Wietholter (John Garrett) of Zionsville, Ryan Todd Oman (Abby) of Greentown, Dr. Trent James Oman (Candice) of Carmel, Dr. Tara Lynn Renbarger (Bryson) of Converse, Ross Paul Oman of Greentown, Brandon Wayne Barger (Lauren) of Decatur, Dr. Rachel Lynn Baum (Felix) of Mooresville and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Josey Elizabeth Jones (Oman), Ryan Todd Oman, Jr., Lillian Rose Oman, Jenna Lynn Oman, Algird James Oman, Solomon Joseph Oman, Vivienne Nicole Oman, Liam James Oman, Malia Laine Oman, Henry David Moran, Sylvia Brooke Moran, Baer Joseph Renbarger, Cael Alexander Renbarger, Bayne Garrett Renbarger, Emily Jay Renbarger, Ansley Lynn Renbarger, Jacob Wayne Barger and Leah Marjorie Barger; and his siblings-in-law, Roberta "Bobbie" Oman (Cy) of Bluffton, Sharon Evone Gentis (William) of Bluffton, Dee Gregg, Jr. of Bluffton and Joann Davison (Ralph) of Columbia City.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lemler Funeral Home (308 W Washington St, Bluffton, IN 46714). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
