He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Gerber and Sylvia Gerber (Kaehr); his siblings, Russell, Luther, Galen Gerber and Marilyn Prichard; and his brother-in-law Charles Fiechter.
He is survived by: his wife Betty A. Huffman; his children, Greg Gerber (Lana) of Berne, Kerry J. Gerber of Bluffton and Cheryl Hudson (Dan) of Warren, OH; his siblings, Glen Gerber of Indianapolis and Maxine Fiechter of Bluffton; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Gerber of Bluffton, Susie Gerber of Bluffton and Willis Prichard of Craigville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
