With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gregory Mayer of Bluffton, Indiana, born in Bardstown, Kentucky, who passed away on December 23, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph A. Mayer and Catherine A. Mayer (Ray); his wife C. Louise Sympson; his children, Patrick Mayer (LeAnn) of Bluffton, Karen Lenart (David) of Seymour, Charlotte Buening of Greensburg, Daniel Mayer (Audrey) of Buffalo, KY, Matthew Mayer (Jeanette) of Bluffton and Susan Cleveland (Rob) of Saint Joseph, MI; his siblings, Julia Mayer (David Burse) of Kentucky, Bernie Sutherland (David) of Kentucky, Mary Catherine Heil (Chuck) of Kentucky, John Mayer (Shirley) of Kentucky, Leo Mayer (Bertha) of Kentucky, Charlie Mayer (Hortensia) of Kentucky and Tom Mayer (Debie) of Indiana; his friends, Amy Bayless Burry, Greg and Louise; and his siblings, James Robert Mayer (Valerie) of Kentucky, Dr. James A. Mayer and Francis Agnes Mayer.
