He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl L. Huss and Mildred A. Huss (Johnson); his wife Judith "Judy" (Shady); his children, Angela McHenry, Meredith McCarter, Stephanie Huss and Walter "Joe" Huss; his siblings, Dan Huss and Diane E. Huss; and his grandson Justin McHenry.
He is survived by: his daughter Kim Hatfield (Steve) of Bluffton; and his brothers, Dave Huss (Margie) of Ossian and Don Huss (Vicky) of Bluffton. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
