It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David D. Eckelbarger of Bluffton, Indiana, born in Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Eckelbarger and Mary Eckelbarger (Carter); his wife Sarah Larita Eckelbarger; and his siblings, William Eckelbarger and Barbara Davidson.
He is survived by: his children, David W. Eckelbarger (Ruthie) of Bluffton, Ronald L. Eckelbarger of Montpelier, Diana M. Uptgraft (Ron) of Decatur, Debra S. Streater (Jim) of Carmel, IN, Sharon R. Smith (Bill) of Uniondale, Daniel J. Eckelbarger (Karen) of Craigville, Samuel D. Eckelbarger (Lisa) of Louisville, Elizabeth A. Fiebig (Kevin) of Freemont and Timothy L. Eckelbarger of Craigville; his sisters, Anna Belle McCartney of Bluffton, Marilyn Wilson (Don) of Markle, Nancy Adams of Beaverton, MI and Joyce Greene of Markle; and his grandson Daniel J. Eckelbarger. He is also survived by 39 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren and 49 great-great-grandchildren.
