With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn G. Springer of Bluffton, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn G. Springer to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Earl and Helen Reed (Gocke); her former husband Richard W. Hanes; her husband Lloyd Springer; her children, Cathy Hanes and Ronald Hanes; her granddaughter Laura French; and her siblings, Paul Reed and Flora "Fuzz" Bonfiglio.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia French of Fort Wayne, Daniel Hanes of Huntington and Richard E. Hanes (Nancy) of Fort Wayne; and her brother DeWayne Reed (Peg) of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
