It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anna Belle McCartney of Bluffton, Indiana, born in Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Eckelbarger and Mary Maude Eckelbarger (Carter); her husband Forrest Jay McCartney; her sons, Danny Gardenour and Richard Gardenour; and her siblings, David Eckelbarger, William Eckelbarger and Barbara Davison.
She is survived by: her children, William Gardenour (Joye) of Bluffton, Jonathan McCartney of Fort Wayne, Randall McCartney (Beverly) of Bluffton, Ken McCartney (Karla) of Bluffton and Lane McCartney of Bluffton; and her sisters, Marilyn Wilson of Markle, Nancy Adams of Beaverton, MI and Joyce Green of Markle. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Gideons or the Sonlight Wesleyan Church.
