He is survived by: his daughter Tristan Smith of South Whitley, IN; his stepson James Lent of Fremont, IN; and his siblings, Marie Fry (Dan) of West Point, MS., Susan Leslie of Ft. Wayne, Cecil J. Smith of Bluffton and James H. Smith of Ft. Wayne. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
