He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hillenburg and Hester Hillenburg; his son Jeff Hillenburg; his sisters, Linda Cain and Carol Cain; and his nephew Mark Cain.
He is survived by: his son Richard Hillenburg (Ronda); and his nephew Scott Cain.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home and Crematory (4155 S Old State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
