He is survived by: his children, Sherry Terrell (Danny), Stacy Sexton (Rick) and William Earl Mills II; his grandchildren, Bridgett Terrell, Daniel Terrell, Brendan Sexton and Madeline Sexton; his great grandchildren, Aiden Terrell, Nina Terrell, Levi Terrell and Reina Sexton; and his siblings, Carol Deckard, Jerry D. Mills, Joyce Harding (Charlie) and Richard "Dick" Mills (Regina).
