He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Everett Eller; and his nephew James Daniel "JD" Abbitt. He is survived by: his mother Shirly Koontz Eller (Koontz) of Bloomington; his wife Kelly of Bloomington; and his siblings, Dawn Abbitt (Danny) of Bloomington, Kimberly Cox (John) of Solsberry and Doug Eller of Bloomington. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews and cousins.
