It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Bing of Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Bing to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Norris, Sr. and Cathrine Norris (Johnson); her husband George Fox Bing; and her siblings, Randy Norris, Richard Norris, Jr., Robbie Norris, Sr., Mary Jackson and Zelma Norris.
She is survived by: her children, Regina Phillips (Rod) and Michael Blount (Laura); her grandchildren, Nariah, Mekhi, Kamari, Myka, Dominic Blount, Keeley Bragg and Machii Frye; and her siblings, Ralph Norris and Cathrine Averitte (Dale). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Rose Hill Cemetery (1100 E 4th St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (321 N Rogers St, Bloomington, IN 47404).
