She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaylord Sparks and Mary Sparks; and her siblings, Eleanor and Bill. She is survived by: her children, Scott Martindale (Jennifer) of Bloomington, LaDonna Simpson of Commiskey, Donita "Shorty" Royalty Layman of Commiskey, Marshall Royalty of Seymour and Mitchell Royalty of Paris Crossing, Indiana.; her grandchildren, Amanda (Brandon), Vanessa, Josh (Taylor), Abby, Zac (Ainsleigh), Blade, Jordan and Grace; her great grandchildren, Max, Addison, Cole, Rayna, Brandon and Myla; and her siblings, Marge George, Nanci Ochoa, Jim Sparks (Crystal), Cathi Delp (Chris) and John Sparks (Janet).

The family does ask that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to Walnut Grove Cemetery, Bloomfield, Indiana or the American Cancer Society.
