She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph H. Ellers and Annabelle Ellers (Short); her father-in-law Gary C. Lybrook; her brother Joedy Ellers; and her sister-in-law Claudia Dixon.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Richard Woolington (Mary), Julie Frey (Drew), Timothy Lybrook (Catherine), Polly (Mick), David Lybrook (Anne) and Cicero; her grandchildren, Rex Woolington, Alex Frey, Adam Frey, Chad Lybrook (Tane), Blaine Lybrook (Jessica), Garrett Kane (Kate), Madeline Sagona (Alex), Spencer Lybrook, Carly Lybrook and Evie Lybrook; and her sisters-in-law, Joy Welch, Lafayette and Alexis Taubert. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer (705 E Southway Blvd, Kokomo, IN 46902). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (2200 S High St, Bloomington, IN 47401).
Memorial contributions may be given to Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Kokomo, Faith Lutheran Church in Bloomington or a Christian organization of choice in Lou Ann's memory.
