It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Grider of Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leland Grider to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Grider and Lula Grider of Vallonia, Indiana.; his sister Betty Ann Smithers Jones; and his stepdaughter Amie Lundy. He is survived by: his wife Libby K. Grider (Bland); his children, Marilea Grider (Kirk Miller), Julie Doerge (Michal) and Alice Johnson (Michael); his stepchildren, Lacreta Eskam and Chad Bays; his niece Connie Norris; and his nephew Daryl Jones. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lester Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home Inc. - Bloomfield (421 S Seminary St, Bloomfield, IN 47424). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
