John R. East III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John R. East III (Bloomington, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John R. East III to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father John R. East Jr.; and his sister Susan Jane Summitt. He is survived by: his brother Tom East; his niece Shelley Puckett (Dean); his great-niece Emily Garton (Austin); his great-nephew Adam Puckett (Rebecca); his niece Amy Payton (Scott); his great-niece Emma Payne; his nephew Mark Summitt; and his cousins, George East, David Caulpitts (Kimmie), Bobby Rumple (Debbie), Barbara Rumple and Jemma Myers.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM and at 7:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be given to Arlington United Methodist.
