It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Philip Cornwell (Bloomington, Indiana), born in Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on July 9, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cornwell and Marjorie Cornwell (Hobbs); and his brother Jim Cornwell. He is survived by: his wife Amy Cornwell (Prather); his children, Jonathan Cornwell (Nichole) and Kristen McGuire (Rick); his brother Joe Cornwell; and his grandchildren, Michael McGuire, Kamryn McGuire, Kaylee Cornwell, Olivia McGuire, Madison Cornwell and Mackenzie Cornwell.

Contributions in Phil's honor may be given to the Ellettsville Christian Church.
