We bid farewell to Joe Moore (Bloomington, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 19, 2025 at the age of 83. Joe touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Ester Louise Moore (Curry); and his siblings, Phyllis Moore and George Thomas Moore. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Moore (McDaniel); his sons, Andrew Moore (Kimberly) of Bloomington and Charles Moore (Elizabeth) of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Hensley Saunders (Moore), Addison Moore, Emily Moore and Caleb Moore; his great grandchildren, Gideon Saunders and Mark Saunders; his brother John Donald Moore (Ellen); and his sister-in-law Kay Moore. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
