He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Waldon and Elizabeth Waldon (Godsey); and his siblings, Larry, Gary, Mike Waldon, Joyce Pryor, Jacqueline Rupp, Joan Martin and Jane Morrison.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Koontz; his children, Missy Waldon and Jeff Waldon; his sister Judy Chatten; and his grandson Trevor Waldon (family: Dana, Barb Ooley, Jordan, Courtney, Rae, J. Stewart).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Powell (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Monroe County 4-H.
