She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Otilla and Nanette Scott Troxel; her brother James Troxel (Nancy); and her nephew Douglas Troxel. She is survived by: her husband Charles R. "Chuck" Foster of Bloomington; her children, Anne L. Foster of Bloomington and Scott T. Foster of Moab, Utah; her granddaughters, Naomi Brown (Frankie Swift) of Northampton, MA and Susan Brown of Cambridge, England; and her nephew Jeff Troxel (Jennie).
Memorial donations may be made to the Meadowood Retirement Community or St. Mark's United Methodist Church, both in Bloomington, IN, to the First United Methodist Church in Salem, OR, or to the Charles R. Foster Endowment Fund, Candler School of Theology, Emory University, Atlanta, GA 30322.
