He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Cain Sr. and Janet Lorene Cain (Carmichael); and his pets, Lucy, June Bug Cain and Nikki Cain.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie E. Cain of Bloomington; his children, Jameson E. Cain (Abigail) of Bloomington, Mary Grace "Gracie" Vagg (Daniel), Mia E. Cain of Bloomington and Carolyn R.; his grandchildren, Zane Cain, Coraline Cain, Eleanor Cain and Baby Cain; his brother Robert D. Scholes of Bloomington; his aunt Linda Shelby (David) of Georgia; and his pets, Harper, Penny and Gatsby Vagg.
There are no services scheduled at this time due to family members being affected by covid-19.
