He was predeceased by: his parents, Herb McElroy and Ellen McElroy; and his brothers-in-law, Norm Allen, Chris Carnegie and Bill Haynes.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmie McElroy (Amanda) and Courtney Vencel (Logan); and his grandchildren, McCoy, Kyle Vencel, Heston, Hank and Hagen McElroy.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lester Jenkins and Sons Funeral Home Inc. - Bloomfield (421 S Seminary St, Bloomfield, IN 47424). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Clear Creek Christian Church, in Bloomington, IN or New Prospect Church, in Dolan, IN in Jim's memory.
