He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Hoke (Joske) and Warren Lorenzen; and his mother-in-law Patricia Lorenzen. He is survived by: his wife Denise Lorenzen Hoke; his sons, Joseph Hoke (Chelsea Billups) of Dallas, TX and Nicholas Hoke (Cami Marsteller) of Carmel, IN; his sisters, Gloria Herndon (Larry) and Ginny Boshears (Gerald); his siblings-in-law, Bruce Lorenzen, Donald Lorenzen (Judy), Scott Lorenzen (Antoinette) and Michelle Harden (David); his nieces and nephews, BJ Herndon (Kelly), Jeremy Boshears (Karey), Ryan Herndon, Corrie Carnegie (Chris), Melissa Smith (Josh), Kathleen Lorenzen (Craig Edwards), Bridget McEntee (Shawn), Adina Johnson (Jack Lyttle), Jacob Lorenzen and Joshua Lorenzen; and his pets, Shakespeare and Lewkee.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel and Crematory of Powell (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401).
