He was predeceased by : his parents, Marjorie Floyd and Earl Floyd; and his in-laws, Robert and Louise Fenton. He is survived by : his wife Janet Floyd (Fenton); his sister Beth Thrasher (Tim); and his children, Angela Chambers (Eric), Sara Fischer (Edward), Nathan Floyd (Mandy) and Jennifer Taylor (Ryan).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard (3000 E 3rd St, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
