He was predeceased by: his parents, George Washington Combs and Rhea Grace "Gracie" Cochran; and his half-sisters, Laura Combs Bogue and Olis Geraldine Combs Hauser of Gladewater, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis N. Tenison of Poseyville; his children, Karen Sitton (Rick), Carla Morgan (Tom) and Philip Combs (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Mindy Morgan, Cara Rogers, Chris Sitton, Stephanie Sitton and Shawn Sitton. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Allen Funeral Home and Crematory (4155 S Old State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
