It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary F. Empson of Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Empson and Maude Empson (Stephens); and his brother Steve Empson. He is survived by: his wife Candra "Candy" Empson; his son Brad Empson (Jeri); his grandsons, Ronnie Sue Deckard (Ty) and Tyler Robinson (Anely); and his great grandchildren, Hayden and Lucie. He is also survived by his family, but by the numerous friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Church (2655 S Adams St, Bloomington, IN 47403). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship (2655 S Adams St, Bloomington, IN 47403).
