With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Leroy Merida of Bloomington, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurand Benjamin and Ruth Merida (Harris); and his brothers, Aurand and Melville Merida. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Denise Holdman (Steven) of New Mexico and David Merida (Jeanetta) of Solsberry; his grandchildren, Lisa Maria (Donavan), Josh Holdman (Allison), Stephanie Johnson (Wes) and Jenifer Smith (Justin); and his siblings, Carl Merida (Vickie) of Greenwood, Esther Fleener of Bloomington and Verna Brinson (Phil) of Fishers.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home and Crematory (4155 S Old State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47401). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (4155 S Old State Rd 37, Bloomington, IN 47401).
