He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald McArdle and Beverly McArdle. He is survived by: his wife Nancy McArdle; his children, Eleanor Clark (Chandler), John McArdle and Marilyn Lee (Steven); his grandson George Clark; and his siblings, Bob McArdle (Jennifer), Patrick "Chip" McArdle (Diane), Linda Rittenhouse (Brock), Mike McArdle (Julie), Mary Ramirez (Michael), Ann Salek (Eric) and John McArdle (Christina). He is also survived by 32 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in David's honor to the Women's Care Center of Bloomington, as this was a meaningful cause to him.
