Clara Mae Axsom Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clara Mae Axsom of Bloomington, Indiana, born in Monroe, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Sipes and Roberta Clara Sipes (Miller); and her husband Leston D. Axsom Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Andrew D. Axsom (Amy) of Bloomington, Angelia R. Baugh (Hank) of Bloomington and Cynthia G. Hawkins (Ron) of Ellettsville; her grandchildren, Ashley Thomas (Chet), Brad Baugh (Candance), Andrew Baugh (Kendra), Amanda Dunaway (Randy), Kelsie West, Jaden Baugh (McKenna), Allie Biddle (Levi), Alexis, Tommy, Lori, Matthew Baugh, Tyler Hawkins (Angel), Jordan Hawkins (Emily), Abigail Mahurin (Alex), Emily, Elizabeth Axsom and Samantha Rosenplot; and her brothers, Jerry Sipes of Fort Payne, AL and Phillip Sipes (Becky) of Indianapolis. She is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Turning Point Apostolic Church Building Fund in Ellettsville.
