She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Riese and Amelia Koleff Riese; her son Christopher Jones; and her brothers, Leonard, Edward and Bob Riese.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur E. "Gene" Jones, Jr.; her children, Bill Jones of Tangier and Kris Wittenmyer (Jamey) of Rockville; her siblings, John Riese, Jim Riese, Mike Riese, Pete Riese, Eleanor Stanley and Annette Hall; her grandchildren, Joel, Nathan, Megan Wittenmyer, Jessica Jones (David Rogers) and Courtney Howard (Chris); and her great grandchildren, Bentley, Sofia, Laylah, Caroline and Lilly.
