He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Mitchell and Wilma R. Mitchell (Prather); and his brother Darrell Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Janie Mitchell; his son William Madden; his grandchildren, Taylor Leigh, Katie Croft, Travis Madden, Christian Johnson, Harley Johnson, Nicolette Johnson, Jake Johnson, Liberty Johnson and Jensen Johnson; and his brother Brent Mitchell.
