He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Hixon and Betty Hixon; his wife Sherry Hixon (Hasler); his stepdaughters, Kara Bowling, Angela Smith and Megan Cook; and his grandchildren, Patrick Bowling, Lauren Meinzer, Alex Bowling, Landon Bowling, Dane Smith, Shea Smith, Bryn Smith, Ashlyn Stahl, Adisson Stahl and Kynlee Cook.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Walnut Grove Cemetery.
