He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Bovenschen II and Sarah Bovenschen Foster (Wagner); his wife Pinky Morgan; his children, Butch IV Bovenschen (Tammy), Kristina Helms (Thomas), Jack Bovenschen (Kim) and Valarie Fink (Larry); his sister Lisa Hays (Dan); his brothers-in-law, Anthony Morgan and Clay Brennaman; and his grandchildren, Chase Bovenschen, Devin Bovenschen, Kylie Bovenschen, Dane Bovenschen, Amy Alberson (Tony), Bryce Helms (Cassidy), Justin Bovenschen (Devan), Sarah Nail, Chantal Mehill (Nate), Ally Crews (Nathan) and Jon Fink (Madison).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Word of Life Fellowship Church (4713 E State Rd 54, Bloomfield, IN 47424). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
