It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willard B. Vest of Bloomfield, Indiana, born in Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James David and Mary Lena Vest (Lush); his wife Penny Vest (Sipes); and his siblings, Charles David Vest, Jackie Ray Vest, Goldie Lee Cummings, Mary Godsey, Phyllis Vest, Carol Vest and Patty Vest.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph Melton, Dana Nickens, Kathy Billoit, Debbie Ferran and Darlene Hendershot; and his sisters, Wanda Wright, Lois Vest and Sally Vest. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.
