She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Auten and Ferris Lucille Auten Rowe (Hendricks); her husband Conrad Rex Hudson; her son Rick; and her siblings, Betty Auten, JoAnne Hall (Auten) and Daniel (Shirley Ann Auten).
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Gilmore (Cameron); her daughter-in-law Nancy Hudson; her grandchildren, Carla Priest (Ryan), John Hudson (Tricia), Taylor Gilmore and Christopher Gilmore; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Jane Priest (Ian Staggs), Lauren Hudson, Travis Priest, Maggie Hudson, Allison Hudson, Elle Malone and Finn Malone; and her brother-in-law Bill Hall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a memorial contribution in Shirley's name to the Bloomfield-Eastern Greene Public Library or the Bloomfield Church of Christ.
