He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wayne and Geraldine Patton (Johnson); and his wife Orvada Patton. He is survived by: his sisters, Sharon K. Dunn of Bedford, Patricia Kimmel of Bloomington and Sheila Hawkins of Bloomington; and his stepchildren, Sherri Moore (Billy), Donnie Cobb (Dana) and Tracy Cobb (Lacey Bough).
