He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. and Wilma B. Skinner; his son Stewart Skinner; and his siblings, Darrell Skinner, Peggy Allen and Judy Bruce.

He is survived by: his children, Chris Skinner, Teresa Bartlett, Mary Ruth Bland and Rick Skinner; and his sister Karen Stivers.

The family wishes any donations be made to Jenkins Funeral Home in Richard's name.
