He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Blake and Larry Blake; and his grandson Colten David Scott Whelchel. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Madalynn Carmichael, Aliyah Carmichael, Hannah Carmichael, Juniper Parcels, Brandon, Molly Leone, Kohen, Noelle Parcels, Cadence, Corbin, Cambria and Caine Whelchel; his family Harley; his wife Melissa Blake; his daughters, Chelsea Blake (Robert Leone) and Abigail Blake-Parcels (Charles Parcels); and his siblings, Craig Blake and Alma Blake.

The family wishes any memorial donations in Randy's name be given to the Sons of the American Legion or the American Legion Riders.
