He was predeceased by: his parents, Welker Sparks and Florence Sparks (Nichols); and his brothers, Leland Sparks, Louis Sparks, Glen Sparks and Bill Sparks.
He is survived by: his wife Jewell Sparks of Bloomfield; his daughter Karen Pattinson (Joe); his grandson Mike Pattinson (Marcella); and his great grandchildren, Alexa Pattinson and Joey Pattinson.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes donations be made to the Bloomfield United Methodist Church or Charity of one's choice.
