It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leota Mae Brinson of Bloomfield, Indiana, born in Long Beach, California, who passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Johnson and Helen V. Johnson (Martindale); her husband James Brinson; and her sons, Michael Dean Brinson and Mark Dennis Brinson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Dawn Brinson of Linton and Carmen Denise Jackson (David) of Bloomfield; her grandchildren, Kevin Cross (Laura), Kyle Cross (Grace), Clint Cross (Karley), Matt Brinson, Casey Brinson and Caleb Brinson; her great grandchildren, Homer, Opal, Charlotte, Clara, Graham and Delaney; and her siblings, Chet Johnson (Joyce) of Woodstock, VA, Virginia Jackson (Phillip) of Jonesborough, TN and Mary Louise Arms (Jim) of Ellettsville, IN.
