He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander McCracken and Ella McCracken (Fry); his wife Linda Fay (Fields); and his half-sister Sharon S. Jackson. He is survived by: his children, Douglas W. McCracken of Ellettsville, Indiana and Jennifer J. McCracken (Christopher Andre Phillips) of Ogden, Utah; his grandchildren, Jeremiah J. McCracken, Cora C. McCracken and Emerson L. Phillips; and his siblings, Bill McCracken (Anita) of Coalmont, Judy Francis (David) of Mooresville and Penny Parson (James) of Coalmont, Indiana..
