She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul N. Emery and Tressa J. Emery (Bough); and her brother John R. Emery. She is survived by: her children, John "Newt" Thomas Myers (Lisa), James Phillip Myers, David Andrew Myers (Trinita), Janna Elizabeth Myers (Jim) and Mark Nathaniel Myers (Lisa); her husband Sam; her sons, S. Paul Myers (Susan) and Phil Myers (Teresa); and her sisters-in-law, Sondra Emery and Sarah Gillispie (Wayne). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren with two more great grandchildren.
Janet was a member of the Harvest Community Church and along with Sam donated the three acres that the church was built on.
