He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Raymond and Lois Hobson (Stalcup); and his brothers, Leland and Henry. He is survived by: his wife Rita Hobson (Bough); his children, James L. Hobson (Leona) of Bloomfield, Terry Hobson (Darlene) of Lyons and Nancy Swedran (Jeff) of Worthington; his brother Dick Hobson of Wakarusa, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Kevin (Penny), Laurie (Chad), Sam, Curt, Cara, Andrea (Mark), Tara and Parker. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
