He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Marie Schantz (Rollison) and Jimmie L. Schantz; and his sister Karen. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Schantz (Parkinson); his children, D. J. Wray of Terre Haute, Devin Schantz (Miranda) of Springville, Jason Wray (Rebecca) of Terre Haute and Rachele May (Dave) of Bloomington; his grandchildren, Lane Shirley-Schantz, Landyn Wray, Deklan Wray, Brayton Mosier and Tristian Adcock; and his siblings, Vickie Burger (Philip) of Bloomfield, Tony Schantz (Teresa) of Bloomfield and Dave Schantz of Bloomfield.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Jim's name to the following charities: Riley Children's Hospital, American Cancer Society.
