With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Frances Murphy of Bloomfield, Indiana, born in Linton, Indiana, who passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James R. "Bob" Stone and Anna L. Stone (Lucas); and her husband Richard W. "Rick" Murphy. She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Amanda Workman (Rob) and Katie Holderfield (Jim); her siblings, David Stone (Joy) and Linda Trout; her nieces, Kamey Ridgeway, Lindsey Everett (Doug), Jessica Bruner (Bill Quiller) and Jodi Trout; her stepgrandchildren, Darian Workman, Lance Workman, Lilah Holderfield, Willa Holderfield and Nora Holderfield; her great-nieces, Amelia Bruner, Daisy McRoberts and McKenzie Everett; her great-nephew Jacob Everett; and also Ivory McRoberts.
The family wishes any memorial donations be made in Esther's name to the Scotland Historical Society, Scotland Cemetery, Taylor Township Fire Department or the Crane VFW.
